v 2006 - up t'north
A slightly off piste event this one - with the team sorting themselves out or not as the case may be - neilo in chelmsford, occasional contributors julie and graham there in a no camping scenario and me up t'north in stafford for the sat.
my thoughts enjoyed location at chelmsord better than up t'north but maybe that is cos i'm a southern cock - saw the following with a the following scores on the doors...
Strongbow dance tent at start and end of the night 9 - maybe i'm changing but still danced like a Tw@t!!!!!!!
sugababes - saw one song push my button? or was it pull my chain? - a resolute 0 for those ladieeessss - shiteeeeeeee!!!
Hard -Fi(sic) what is with the even faker cockerney accent - hmmm - good cover of a white stripes toon - solid 8 out of 10 though we need new stuff now guys!!!!!
Weller - gawd am i gonna have to see him again - straight 10s - chnaging man, a soaring wildwood, and you do something to me pluse town called malice - AWESOME geezer!!!!
Faithless - watch can you say? knew what was coming off from Tues and it still fackin rocked - another 10!!! if they get another one - does that mean they get voted into the (to be formed!!!) Gig guide hall of fame)!!!! Brilliant!!!!
For me biggest disappointment was Groove Armada a solid 7 but maybe seen it all before.
Other bits from Stafford - pissed down with rain, birds pissing everywhere - nice !!!! like phils dirty teenage golden showe dvds, taking an hour to find me car in the carpark when finishing!!!, and some annoying manc twat groaning in the background at close of play - opps sorry mozzer!!!!
Early reports from Chelmsford indicated that Kasabian rocked - cant wait till Dec and Keane ok.
All in all a tip top, ayyyyyyyyyeeeee, to the max event

Was at Chelmsford and at the front for Paul Weller, Great set.
